PHASE 2 OF THE GREAT PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN LAO CAI: THE STORIES OF CHANGE CONTINUE
The Launching Ceremonies of the Phase 2 of the GREAT Program were officially organized by the Australian Embassy, Vietnam, the People’s Committee of Lao Cai and Son La provinces.
GREAT Program is a pivotal 10-year initiative funded by the Australian Government aiming at economically empowering women and promoting gender equality in the Northwest mountainous areas of Vietnam.
Through enhancing agricultural productivity and tourism development, the second phase of GREAT are on a mission to uplift more than 30,000 women in Lao Cai and Son La provinces, with a special focus on those from ethnic communities.
