23 January 2019 – The first agriculture project under the GREAT Program, a pilot on the development of a VietGAP vegetable value chain, was launched today in Van Ho District, Son La Province.

Son La, 24th July 2018 – The Australian and Vietnamese Governments officially kicked off its Gender Responsive Equitable Agriculture and Tourism (GREAT) Program in Northwestern Vietnam in a bid to empower, create jobs and improve incomes for local women.

16-18 April – The First Aus4Equality|GREAT Program Joint Strategic Planning workshop brought together nearly 40 representatives from key partner agencies, including DFAT, the Project Management Units (PMUs), CowaterSogema and the implementation team.

Recently the Aus4Equality|GREAT program brought together 50 participants in two Provincial Engagement Strategy workshops from the Provincial DPI, DARD, DCST, DOLISA, VWU, CEMA, and District representatives of Son La and Lao Cai.
